PAS 2030 – Improving the Energy Efficiency of Existing Buildings

QNB Certification provides INAAC Accredited certification services to the PAS 2030 standard for the installation of energy efficiency measures in existing buildings.

PAS2030 was created to support the Government’s framework to deliver energy efficiency measures to property owners across the Qnb . The primary objective for the standard is to provide a robust, uniformly applicable specification that will assist installers to demonstrate that their installation of energy efficiency improvement measures have met specification and customer requirements.

PAS 2030 Certification to work under funding schemes

PAS2030 can be used to access Government funding within the England and Wales such as the Energy Company Obligation or a range of funding mechanisms in Scotland. PAS2030 is increasingly being used to demonstrate competence when competing in tenders and Local Authorities commonly require PAS 2030 for installers working under their energy efficiency schemes. Upon certification all installers are registered on the Green Deal ORB Participant Register.

Key benefits of PAS 2030 Certification

  • Create a robust and quality approach to energy efficiency measure installation
  • Improving your efficiency or profitability and gaining access to new markets.
  • Instilling confidence in consumers, contractors and stakeholders that you are adhering to quality processes
  • Achieving PAS 2030 certification means you can use QNB Certification Ltd.’s authorisation as Green Deal Installers working as a Green Deal Participant
  • We are cost competitive; our process is straight forward and we provide a personalised, approachable service compared to larger certification bodies.
  • PAS 2030 certification means you demonstrate compliance with supply chain requirements (e.g. supports PQQ process) giving your company advantage in winning tenders and picking up new business.
  • Provides a good platform for introducing new management systems in the future

Integrated Management System

PAS 2030 can be effectively integrated with Quality, Safety and Environmental management systems to form a streamlined integrated management system. Collectively, these systems strengthen an organisation’s bids for client contracts, and in particular PQQs (Pre Qualification Questionnaires) with Green Deal Providers.*
